The trend is towards a Company of Cats: why not take two?
This month's encouraging trend setters are so far - the new owner of a recently rescued kitten looking for a young and gentle playmate for her, - the fosterers who decided to keep their leukemia patient forever and were looking for a suitable companion from our leukemia villa, - the family who came to home one cat and decided they could afford to make two cats happy.
Two cats are hardly more work than one, but that the joy is double. Not only are you giving another homeless cat a fulfilled, happy life, you also double the fun for its companion AND you disproportionately enhance your own life! It will save you a lot of time and effort, if you can introduce both newcomers to your home at the same time. So choose carefully and then TAKE TWO.
NEUTERING- the only solution to the unwanted cat and kitten crisis
At CSAF we see daily the trauma and horrors of unwanted cats. Not only horrendous illness, starvation and injury, but also many cases of abuse by humans. We do all we can to help these cats, but, there is only ONE solution to the problem - NEUTER all cats so that no unwanted kittens are ever born and therefore can not grow up to be unwanted, unloved cats producing more unwanted, unloved kittens... Both male and female cats need to be neutered. While females produce numerous litters in a year, remember that one male can impregnate numerous females in one day! Please help us to help the cats! Neuter your pets! Help us to help colony feeders neuter their cats.
